Ever since I was a young child I have always had an interest in technology. I have memories of playing games on my parents' '92 apple computer and building websites with my friends in middle school. Now I am a 28 year old College of Charleston graduate who spends most of the day navigating apps on my iPhone. Technology is a major part of my everyday life. At CadmiumCD it's my responsibility to make sure our products are as user friendly as possible for our clients.
I was born and raised in Atlanta, GA. but moved to Charleston to get my degree in International Business. I now live in Baltimore as of August 2014, where I work at CadmiumCD as a project manager for the mobile app. In my spare time, I love to paint, run with my German Shepherd and spend time with friends and family.
I am a software engineer by trade, having graduated as such from Indiana Institute of Technology in 2016 and currently pursuing my MS in CS via online courses. I have roughly 5 years of professional experience as I was full time employed while studying at Indiana Tech and another 5 years or so in personal experience. My area of expertise is web and mobile development and web architecture (I am a certified AWS architect and pursuing my Azure certificates as well). Oh, I also used to be a pastry chef at a five-star restaurant; It was awful.
In my spare time I do some outdoor activities, cook/bake and develop Indie video games with friends.
I graduated from the University of Delaware with a bachelor's degree in Computer Science in 2017. While attending, I interned as an internal service desk technician with both my college as well as a power company but my true passion has always been within the software development field. CadmiumCD begins my experience into professional development and I look forward to expanding my knowledge and skillset of programming in a web-based environment.
When I am not working, I enjoy playing Frisbee golf and exploring the local parks around me. Spending four years of my life in Newark, Delaware, I was lucky enough to have easy access to Washington D.C, Baltimore and Philadelphia. This made me realize how much I enjoy traveling and would like to see as many different environments and cultures, around the world, as I can.
I graduated from Manhattan College in 2017 with a degree in Computer Science. During my time at Manhattan College, I interned as a quality assurance associate. I began working at CadmiumCD in April 2018, joining their engineering team. CadmiumCD is the start of my professional career in the web development world and I look forward to expanding my skills and knowledge here.
When I am not developing, I enjoy being outside playing basketball, snowboarding (in season), and traveling as much as possible. I also have a love for music, playing guitar and ukulele in my free time.
Originally from Massachusetts, I graduated from UMass Amherst in 1993 with a degree in Psychology. Shortly after, I moved to Orange County California to escape the harsh New England winters and decided to make it my home. It was there I started a 20-year career at IEEE (The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers) where I worked in Customer Service, Advertising Sales, Trade Show Management, Conference Proceedings Sales, and finally, Custom Event and Sponsorship Sales. I have always had a passion for sales, technology, and events. I enjoy working with Associations and have extensive experience dealing with volunteers and with organizations working cybersecurity, big data, AI, and software development and engineering.
I was looking for a change and I joined CadmiumCD in June 2017. I am inspired by the team dynamic, as well as the passion of our staff to provide the best software in the business to meeting planners and conference organizers. My goal as a sales person is to provide value to our clients and to help them make their events successful.
When Iím not working, I am a wife and busy mom to my 2 kids. I enjoy live music, movies, hiking, and watching LA Kings hockey.
My husband and I recently relocated to Maryland for his job. Having lived all over the U.S. we are very excited to land here in Maryland.
Before joining the Cadmium team as a Project Manager, I was the Technology & Communications Coordinator for a prominent law firm in Albany, New York. Prior to the firm I had worked in both the hospitality and education sectors gaining over nine years of experience in communications and technical support. I pride myself on my ability to handle multiple priority projects and deliver them to completion efficiently. I obtained my bachelors in Communications from the State University of New York at Oneonta in 2008.
Outside of work I enjoy hiking, exploring new areas, attending sporting events, going to the beach and binge-watching shows on Netflix. I am an avid reader and enjoy baking. I am also the proud pet mama of our dog Poseidon.
I grew up in NJ and moved to Maryland in 1996. I'm married and have 2 wonderful children who make me want to laugh, scream and sometime even cry, but it's all worth it. I love to read when I have time. Watching my kids play Soccer, basketball and softball is another thing I love to do.
My career started in the movies, managing theaters. I started with a twin screen (which no longer exist) and ended my career managing a 17 screen theatre with a restaurant and bar. After 13 years in the theater industry I changed careers and went into banking, I worked as a business banker for a little over 2 years and learned lots of valuable information about managing your money. My husband John and I decided it was time to start a family and I became a stay at home Mom for a few years. About six years ago I started working for CadmiumCD on a part-time bases, from there I became more involved in the project management roll until finally I became a full Project Manager.
I enjoy my position here at CadmiumCD and I am looking forward to working with each and every one of you.
I graduated from Towson University about a year ago with a degree in Mathematics and Computer Science. During my time at Towson, I worked for the Housing Residence Life Department and loved helping students transition to living away from home for the first time. I found that I loved being behind the scene in the success of those around me. AS a devloper here at CadmiumCD, I am able to continue what I love by being behind the scenes for making all your events a success.
I was born and raised in Harford County and spent my school years being homeschooled. I graduated from Walkersville Christian Family Schools in 2010 and began working for a company called Charm City Amusements. I began to make short films with my friends around 2007 and quickly realized my passion for photography around the same time. My long term goal is to become a photographer with my own business. I began working at Cadmium in July, 2014 and am involved on the audio production team. I have learned a great deal while working here and enjoy it very much. When I am not working, my hobbies include photography, making music, being outdoors, and traveling.
Born in Baltimore and raised in Pennsylvania, I'm an Appalachian girl with Rocky Mountain dreams. I adore all aspects of design and welcome any technologic challenge to my repertoire. I earned my BFA in both Graphic Design and Fine Arts from York College of Pennsylvania. After heavily focusing in print design and typography, I decided to take the leap from CMYK to RGB. Immediately, I started my career as a Digital Graphic Designer, focusing on brand development, website creation, and marketing initiatives. After years of working my way up to become a Digital Marketing Manager, I changed gears and began seeking different alternatives to use and expand my skills. I am now a Project Manager with CadmiumCD and so genuinely excited to be a part of their ever growing family.
When I am not glued to a screen, you can find me getting down to some funky tunes, skiing down a mountain, or in a different state doing something random and new. When I'm not outside, I enjoy less exciting activities like knitting, watching HGTV, and hiking with my dog.
After graduating from Towson University with a degree in Mass Communication I began a career as a News & Public Affairs Producer in radio and television. I have over 20 years of project management experience. Working in a news room gave me the experience of working in fast-paced, deadline driven industry.
I'm the father of two wonderful children. I'm active as a Boy Scout leader and I coached rec league lacrosse for over 7 years in addition to holding the position of In-House Commissioner for 2 years. When I had spare time I enjoyed doing most any outdoor activity. I have many leather bound books and my office smells of rich mahogany.
I am a writer, marketer, and web developer who's fallen in love with the events industry. I'm passionate about live events, education, technology, and alternative publishing. In my spare time I hike, travel, and write novels about ordinary people doing extraordinary things.
At CadmiumCD I am focused on educating meeting planners about the benefits of event tech. As Marketing Manager I also have the unique pleasure of telling CadmiumCD's ever-growing story.
I'm currently living in Harford County Maryland with my wife and three pets.
I was born and raised in Maryland. In 2013, I traveled to Pennsylvania for college and graduated in 2017 with a B.S. in Computer Engineering and a minor in Mathematics. I then worked at a fitness center before landing at CadmiumCD. I am happy to be back in Maryland and look forward to all of the opportunities that await me.
Outside of the office, I spend my time switching between various hobbies. I am an avid tennis player and fan. If I am not out hitting, I might be watching professional highlights or training videos. I also love to read. Most of my reading is fantasy or sci-fi, but I dabble in non-fiction from time to time. Other than that, I love most things fitness, food, and games.
When I was in 8th grade, the school gave aptitude tests to find careers students could pursue. My results? I could become a "commercial artist." I had no idea what that meant and I certainly never thought I would become one - but that's just what I did! I attended Ohio University, received my B.F.A. in Graphic Design, moved back home, and started freelancing. When I got married and started a family, being able to work from home and take care of my children was a definite win-win.
I joined Cadmium CD in December 2014 as their graphics production specialist, processing graphics for the Mobile apps and Harvester. One of the things I love about my job, besides the 4-minute commute and the great people I work with, is being able to see all the great conference artwork sent in by our clients and making it available online and on mobile devices.
Amazingly cool - especially for someone whose first computer was a Mac Plus.
I have 20 years of experience in the Meetings and Tradeshow Industry. My background in the Meetings Industry is very diverse. I've worked for Exhibit Houses (Access TCA & Explus), Trade Show Management Company (E.J. Krause), Trade Show Online Community Technology (BDMetrics), the Audio Visual Leader (PSAV) and have run my own consulting business called Joseph Marketing Solutions. As CadmiumCD's Director of Business Development, my main responsibility is to grow our company's client base.
On a personal side, I'm a proud father of two great children, Matt and Hannah. I also have a huge passion for sports. I'm a basketball ref and you'll often find me playing softball and golf. I love to have fun, and my favorite color is blue to match my eyes.
As a teenager, I became extremely interested in computers. I would spend hours scouring the internet, and started dabbling in HTML code by creating page layouts for various sites. As I got older, I discovered Photoshop, and fell in love with the synergy between creativity and computers. This led to my study of Graphic Design, which I obtained an AA in from Harford Community College, and went on to obtain a BFA from Towson University.
While studying design, I realized that my love for HTML coding as a teen carried over into an interest in web design. I found joy in learning HTML, CSS, and WordPress. My special interest in this area led me to CadmiumCD.
When I'm not working, I enjoy hanging out with my cat, playing Nintendo, and taking pictures. My friends and I often submerge ourselves in everything Game of Thrones, Star Wars, and Marvel. And, believe it or not, every once in a while I venture outdoors and love to go for hikes or explore the woods.
I am a graduate of Towson University where I received a Bachelors of Business Administration degree. I have lived in Maryland all of my life and my family owns a local restaurant where I have worked for over 15 years. The hospitality industry has allowed me grow as a customer service professional and realize that I truly enjoy working directly with clients.
I have also held positions within the admissions and enrollment departments at UNC Chapel Hill and University of Liverpool in the UK. I was able to travel abroad while helping students to achieve their goals. Here I also embraced online technologies for education, training and webinars.
I look forward to working with you!
I graduated from the University of Kentucky in 2010 and pursued a career in the thoroughbred racing industry, teaching myself to develop websites along the way. In 2017 I completed a Master's degree in Computer Science at Towson University.
When I am not working on the web, I spend my time outside mountain biking, hiking, and horseback riding.
I graduated from Ursinus College 2014. I dual majored in Computer Science and Philosophy. I like learning languages. My friends call me Grey.
Born and raised in St. Joseph Missouri I'm a problem solver at heart. I've always enjoyed learning systems and processes. I have a wide range of interestes and experience, but whether I'm playing video games, working on cars, or setting up tasks in an education Harvester I'm always trying to find the optimal way to do things.
As an education Harvester Product Specialist at cadmiumCD it's my job to make sure you know all the features and functionality of our software so you can run a great event.
I graduated from UMBC with degrees in Media and Communication Studies and American Studies in 2015. I worked as a digital production manager with a small marketing and promotions company before starting at CadmiumCD
Outside of work, I am an avid fan of Hip Hop and am in the process of creating an app to make discovering new artists faster and easier.
I enjoy traveling, cooking, reading, and spending time relaxing with my family. I also enjoy watching my kids play sports and listening to them play their instruments. Over the years, I've taught middle school math, studied computer science, tutored, run a photography business, taught preschool, and volunteered in my children's schools and for Relay for Life.
I feel blessed to join the CadmiumCD team, and excited to draw upon the skills I've gained over the years. Most importantly, I look forward to growing and developing as I serve our clients.
My name is Joe and I in my second full year here at CadmiumCD. In 2012, I graduated at Wilmington University in New Castle, Delaware with an Undergraduate Degree in Sports Management. At Wilmington I was also fortunate enough to pursue a baseball career at the collegiate level. Within the last few years I worked as a Graduate Assistant in the Athletics department at Stevenson University in Owings Mills, Maryland. At Stevenson I obtained my Graduate Degree in Business Technology Management while working specifically with the day to day operation of the baseball program. I now am a part of the CadmiumCD team and serve as a Project Manager for the Abstract Scorecard.
Originally from Pittsburgh, an NCAA coaching opportunity and education brought me to Baltimore. After earning a Master's Degree in Business Technology Management from Stevenson University, I worked at a large corporation in their Ecommerce business.
Looking for a change, I joined CadmiumCD as a Project Manager on the Abstract Scorecard, and will use my experience to help clients use the Scorecard to effectively meet their needs. In my spare time, I coach ice hockey for the Naval Academy and Navy's Youth girls' program.
I am a self-taught programmer born and raised in Maryland. Prior to working at CadmiumCD, I was the lead developer at Lightbulb Wholesaler. I am constantly learning new languages and technologies and working on interesting projects.
I also write songs and playing music. I usually spend my weekends traveling and hiking with my wife. I have a great group of friends and love laughing.
I have over 4 years experience managing software projects focusing on events and continuing education management as well as experience managing various IT service and infrastructure projects around the Washington, D.C area. Originally from South Africa, I graduated from the University of Cape Town with a Bachelor of Business Science Degree in Marketing and received a Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification from the Project Management Institute. At Cadmium, I am project manager for the eventScribe mobile app and Survey Magnet Module.
When away from work, I enjoy coaching and playing soccer, hiking, traveling and fanatically supporting Liverpool F.C.
I have been involved with software and computers for ... well to give you a clue one Christmas a long time ago Santa delivered my first computer - a TRS-80 with a cassette tape drive.† I have had many computers since then and to this day I do not miss the cassette tape drive and to be honest the whole experience shaded my pristine view of gifts from Santa a bit.
I have held many interesting positions in my career in various lines of work from being an Administrative Specialist & Aide to CINCSAC in the USAF to achieving top of the table sales awards for sales management - no matter the position, I found a way to utilize my IT skills to help achieve success.†
When the opportunity arose to help my company and at the same time take on a more traditional IT role - I jumped at the chance.† I ended up with 20 years in IT and held just about every significant IT role during that time.† I was on the team that implemented one of the first electronic applications for life and health insurance and went on to help create a suite of applications and processes that continue to help people today.
I really enjoy helping people and I have been blessed with an opportunity to continue to do that at CadmiumCD.
Away from work I have many hobbies - various computer games, skiing, kayaking, biking, billiards, photography and videography.† However, for many years my primary hobby has and continues to be my family (fiancťe and best friend, two sons, grandson (cutest baby ever!) and dog).† :D
Additionally, I am a lifelong Philadelphia Eagles fan.
I graduated from the University of Baltimore with a degree in Business Administration/Information Systems. After college, I worked as an Investment Systems Analyst for Maryland National Bank until I had my first child. As the bank was in the process of changing hands, it seemed like a good time to stay home with my new daughter. I then went on to have 2 more children (boys) and stayed at home with them for several more years, running them to every practice and event and volunteering as much as possible.
Once my kids were older, I started working for Show Management Solutions (SMS), an independent show organizer in Silver Spring, MD. I started out part time and then moved into a full time position as the Manager, Sales & Financial Administration. After working at SMS for almost 10 years, I accepted a Project Manager position with CadmiumCD, which brought me back full circle to working on software projects.
In 2017, I completed my CEM (Certified Exhibition Manager) certification through IAEE. By fall of 2018 I hope to have my PMP (Project Management Professional) certification through PMI.
When I'm not working, I love to travel, play pickleball, take dance lessons with my husband and spend time with my 3 mostly grown children.
In 2005, I began my studies at Vanderbilt University, where I pursued a Bachlor's of Science in Human and Organizational Development and a Master's in Public Policy. These two degrees allowed me to understand that I truly love communicating and problem solving. After graduating in 2011, I worked in Nashville as a Meeting Contents Manager for an association management company. It was there that I was first introduced to CadmiumCD, utilizing their software to organize and produce conference programs. I moved to Baltimore in 2013 to serve as an Abstract Scorecard Project Manager. I've worked hand-in-hand with clients, ensuring their ability to properly navigate and design the Scorecard to meet their needs. I've transitioned to the role of Sales Manager to help promote the ease-of-use and cost savings that the CadmiumCD platform provides to its clients.
I started working with Cadmium CD in April 2011. I have a background in music, studio recording, and live sound, but my work history is wide and varied; from teaching school, to carpentry, and landscaping. All of these jobs have taught me the value of effiency, quality, and customer satisfaction. These are the same values I bring to my audio production work here at Cadmium CD.
I was born outside of Washington DC and spent most of my early life there before moving to Harford County in 2005. I graduated from C. Milton Wright High School in 2013 and began attending Harford Community College. I have a background in live sound and have played live music since I was in High School. I began working at Cadmium in June 2015 first as an intern before joining the team later that summer. When I'm away from work I enjoy playing music, watching movies and playing with my dog.
My first memories of programming are of writing BASIC on a PET computer I borrowed from school. In my youth I wrote my own versions of my favorite text adventure and graphics games. I stumbled into embedded systems programming in a senior Electrical Engineering design lab and have been doing it professionally for the past 15 years working in Silicon Valley. I began doing work at CadmiumCD in 2004 doing sales and audio recording. Over time I have developed a series of tools the team uses to work more efficiently, including the iPad app. My fondest CadmiumCD memory was doing tech support at ACG 2011 where we launched our first app.
My wife and I live with our baby daughter on the South-West Side of the San Francisco Bay just above San Jose. I enjoy hiking and biking when I am not banging away at code in front of my computer.
In 2009, I began my college career at Harford Community College and later transfered to Towson University where I graduated in 2014 with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science. Although it is a broad subject, I took interest specifically in web development and haven't looked back. Soon after graduation, I began my experience with CadmiumCD where I have continued to expand my knowledge and understanding of web programming and the meetings industry.
Outside of work I like to stay active. I've played soccer for the past 15 years and don't plan to give it up any time soon. I enjoy all sports, hiking, music, and spending time with friends. I like to meet new people and so far it has been a great experience getting to know the company and its employees.
I graduated from the University of Delaware with a degree in Marketing and was ready to face the world. I was lucky enough to be hired by Walt Disney World's College Program in Reservations and continued to work there for an additional year in Attraction Sales. After a year and a half of working for "The Mouse" and spending free time traveling around Florida, my future husband and I returned home to Baltimore.
I then spent 10+ years working for the National Aquarium, traveling and selling the best aquarium on the East Coast. During my time at the Aquarium I got married and had 2 children. I soon realized that traveling and an hour-a-day commute was too much. After a few part time jobs I found my new home at CadmiumCD where I am the Project Manager for Integrations and work with the Harvester Team in getting your projects ready.
I graduated from Towson University in the 90's with a Bachelor Degree in Accounting, then went on to the University of Baltimore for my Master in Accounting. I'm very proud to say that I graduated with a 4.0 GPA. For a time, I was a Senior Accountant at a healthcare company and the Accounting Manager at a University.
I quit working after I had my third child to be a stay-at-home mom. After some time away from my career, I started working at CadmiumCD doing accounting and payroll.
I am an Emmy award winning video/audio production specialist with a background in journalism. I graduated from the University of Miami, FL with a BS in Broadcast Journalism and a BA in English. I've worked for NBC, FOX, ABC, and others. Through my camera, I have shot a Super Bowl, dozens of NFL games, the Oscars, and the final launch of the Space Shuttle Atlantis. I've interviewed First Lady Michelle Obama, Maya Angelou, Cal Ripken, and Tiger Woods. Currently, I live with my family outside Baltimore and thoroughly enjoy burritos and pretzels.
I received my Master of Science Degree in Chemistry at Northern Illinois University and began working at an international chemical company called DSM, where I developed coatings for the optical fiber industry. During that time I received 6 patents but ultimately decided to move out of the laboratory and into marketing and sales. I earned my MBA at Depaul University in Chicago and became the Global Marketing Manager for a group developing materials for the 3D printing industry...before 3D printing was famous!
I left my career in chemicals in 2008 to become a stay at home mother but realized I wasn't suited for that role, nobody liked my cooking except for my dog! I began working for CadmiumCD in 2009 and have enjoyed seeing the product line grow. It's a great company that focuses on improving the meeting planning process and attendee experience.
My passion is helping clients determine the right mix of products that will help them meet their education or meeting objectives. I want my clients to look good to their stakeholders whether it's their boss, an attendee or a member.
Computers and I have always been a great duo. Either gaming with friends and family, or just playing with simple programs to see what I could get the computer to do. Now, with my Computer Science degree from James Madison University, I get to tell a computer what to do and how to do it programmatically. Designing a program and figuring out how best to make a program work is quite a fun activity for me. I continue to learn new ideas with my continuing education with online learning and reading computer science books. The internet is a wealth of information and I take advantage of it daily.
While programming on Android devices for CadmiumCD is not my full time job, I do spend a great deal of time on it. Almost daily I make tweaks to improve performance, improve the code, or add new features. I am glad to be on a team that strives for excellence in all aspects of what they do.
Before I was lucky enough to be a part of the CadmiumCD family, I was the Internal Communication Specialist for IKEA's US Contact Center and Human Resources Service center for 8 of my 12 years there. In that job, I was able to realize my passion of working with and helping others, and to hone my communication and hosting skills through training and education.
I currently reside in Bel Air which is not far from my parents who reside in Aberdeen and whom I absolutely adore. In my free time I love to watch cartoons, cook, clean, spend time with friends and family, watch the Olympics and any updates or coverage about the Olympics, and take a nap whenever I can.
I attended The John Carroll School in Bel Air, where I became an editor of the school yearbook in my sophomore year. In 2010, I graduated from John Carroll as a member of the Quill and Scroll Journalism Honor Society, the National Art Honor Society, and received my diploma with a distinction in the Communicating Arts.
My undergraduate career led me to Mount St. Mary's University, a quiet small-town college in Emmitsburg, Maryland. Throughout my time at the Mount, I held two internships with the University Office of Marketing and Communications, as well as the local Emmitsburg radio station where I produced a live show. I graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Communications and Public Relations in December of 2014, and worked for a local publication until joining the CadmiumCD team.
In May of 2017 life led me to the West Coast, where I am fortunate enough to continue to work for CadmiumCD out of their Fullerton office in California.
My family moved to Maryland in December of 2014 for my husband's job relocation. My working career has revolved around all aspects of conference, meeting and tradeshow management. I have been fortunate to work as a conference manager for Smith Bucklin DC and Conferon (which is now known as Experient.) My degree is from West Virginia University in textile design which has always been passionate hobby of mine. I have two wonderful kiddos, an extremely athletic boy and an exceptionally bright young lady. I am particularly excited to join the talented Project Management team at CadmiumCD and hope that my perspective of a meeting planner will be an asset to our clients.
Prior to starting at cadmiumCD as a Project Manager I was an association management professional in the DC area for over 10 years. I started at the National Association for Home Care and Hospice as an Executive Assistant, moved on to Society of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging as a Senior Program Manager and then was the Director of Programs and Operations at American Concrete Pressure Pipe Association. When my family and I moved to the Baltimore area I was thrilled to find CadmiumCD. I have a bachelor's degree from Roanoke College.
Outside of the office, I spend time with my husband and two young, fun, energetic children.
I am not your average developer. Growing up with a father that was a mechanic and a mother that worked for a long time in a daycare I learned just about everything you can possibly imagine. I loved to take things apart and sometimes succeed at putting them back together. I was forever running in the woods and bringing new critters home to tend to. My father taught me at an early age to fix things rather then replace them. Toasters, driers, cars, etc. To this day I can fix just about anything and have helped build a house from the ground up. I can also operate and repair just about all heavy equipment and I am capable of driving a dump truck.
My grandfather gave me and my brother an ADAM computer when I was 8 years old. I tinkered with it and wrote my first program when I was 8. It just printed "Cat, Dog, Mouse" to the screen over and over and over. But from there my ability to code took off. In Middle School, working in an Apple 2e, I wrote a small program that fooled the other classmates into thinking that I was assessing their grades. In 1994 I purchased my first Desktop computer with money left to me after my grandfather passed.
In 1996 I started working for a small computer shop and my career flourished from there. In 2000 I started working for a federal contract and continued moving to other contracts for 16 years, ranging from Desktop support, to Sr NOC operations engineer to Application Development.
I live in Harford Co Maryland with my son and many critters. My son and I are both Eagle Scouts.
Water activities and swimming instruction have been part of my life since I was a young child. Oddly enough, my association with this part-time work in 2005 led to the meeting of Michelle Wyatt and her sons at swimming lessons, and ultimately to my relationship with CadmiumCD.
I have a Bachelor of Science in Education from West Chester University and a Masters of Education from Temple University. As an educator for over 40 years, 28 of those years as a full-time classroom teacher, my main teaching assignments were Algebra and high school Art.
One of the aspects I enjoy about my work with Cadmium is that I still help to provide educational opportunities to people, not in a classroom, but in the form of online continuing education. Although my professions have categorized me as a 'teacher,' I consider myself a 'learner enthusiast,' which is certainly satiated daily at CadmiumCD in both the cultivation of my computer technology responsibilities and the amount of conference information I process!
During my twelve years with CadmiumCD, I have performed most of the tasks needed to produce conference materials (archival, audio, and/or online) from start to finish. Currently, I am part of the Survey Magnet and Audio Project Production teams, and work with single webinar project clients.
Outside of work, I spend my time with my family (blessed with two sons and a daughter, now grown, and three grandsons), and participate in as many outdoor activities as possible. We enjoy kayaking, gardening, woodworking and games. I am also still in the water as an Aqua Cardio-Fitness instructor!
I first laid my hands on a gaming console when I was about 4 years old, growing up watching my parents play a Nintendo 64 and then begging for my own console as I got older. As time went on, I eventually was introduced to the phenomenon of PC gaming by a friend of mine in 5th grade, where I became extremely fascinated by how computers and video games operated "behind the scenes". Using this curiosity, I learned how to code and map on engines such as Source SDK and G.E.C.K and learned to help code in LUA for servers in a game called Garrysmod.
As I entered high school, I signed up for programming classes and graduated in 2014, continuing my education at Harford Community College where I was able to obtain my Associates of Science in Computer Science in late 2017. Meanwhile working part time at Target for nearly 4 years, I decided I wanted a change of pace and began looking for job opportunities where I could better use my current skills and gain experience in my field, discovering CadmiumCD. While I plan on continuing my education at Towson University to obtain a bachelors degree in my major, I also plan to gain experience firsthand in the technical world here at CadmiumCD and learn all there is to know.
Outside the work world, I am an avid gamer and music connoisseur and enjoy almost all genres of both. I am a huge fan of vaporwave and synthpop and work with my friend to create beats on a music engine in my spare time. I also enjoy traveling - I am in love with the city lifestyle and dream to visit every city in the United States and then Europe. I enjoy concerts, festivals and nights out with friends when I'm not trying to keep it casual. I'm always eager to discover and learn new things!

I have over ten years of experience designing and building on the Web. I spend my days experimenting with various Web technologies to deliver robust solutions that are engaging and intuitive. With the original goal of understanding the full-stack of designing and developing, I started expanding my knowledge on user interface and user experience design and moved my way up through the stack by learning various front-end, databases, and back-end server technologies. After many years of freelancing, I joined CadmiumCD's talented team as a designer and developer in the summer of 2010. At CadmiumCD I focus on designing APIs to facilitate interoperability between our products with 3rd party platforms. Leveraging my experience working on all of CadmiumCD's products I further experiment with keeping the products on the cutting edge of technology and strategically enhancing our customer experience.
I received two Bachelor of Music degrees in Music Performance and Composition from the Peabody Conservatory of the Johns Hopkins University and a Master's Degree in Information Technology with a focus on Web Development from the University of Denver.
When I am not coding or studying, I enjoy playing and composing music, traveling and photography, and mastering my latte art skills.
Hi, my name is Cody Sherman, and I began working at CadmiumCD in March 2016, working in the production department as an Audio Technician. I went to college at Salisbury University on the eastern shore of Maryland, where I earned a Bachelors Degree in Communications with a minor in Film Studies. In my free time I am a big music fan and multiinstrumentalist, playing primarily drums as well as guitar, bass, and ukulele. My love for film has carried over from my college years as well, and I still enjoy watching and studying all kinds of films, with some of my favorite directors being Scorsese, Kubrick, and Lynch. In addition, I also enjoy reading, cooking, and following various sports in my free time!
I've loved technology since I was a kid and started in the IT field professionally about 18 years ago with the Y2K "crisis". I was looking for an entry level job in the technology field and came across a rather unique opportunity to attend a Y2K boot camp where I would learn how to fix the code that was going to stop working at midnight on January 1, 2000.
After several weeks of training, I started working for the education company that provided the boot camp. I spent the next 3 and a half years there learning several different programming languages and working on projects completely unrelated to any Y2K issues. While working full time I attended college part time in the evenings and obtained my degree.
During my career I've learned 17 programming languages, implemented and supported several networks, worked on a help desk (writing the software and answering calls), and managed and designed multiple database and web servers. I've worked in several different industries, from food science to government contracting, where I had the opportunity to lead development teams and be the IT point of contact for a nationwide sales team.
Now that I'm at CadmiumCD I look forward to offering my experience and expertise to improve all of our applications; from adding features that all of our users will see and enjoy, to implementing my knowledge of database design to improve performance and speed so that, as we grow, our users always have the fastest access to their data.
I was born in Kentucky, relocated to Miami, Florida and moved to Baltimore County in the early 2000s then to Harford County for my last 2 years of high school. I graduated from C. Milton Wright in 2012 and earned my Associates of Art and Design from Harford Community College in 2014. I am now entering my final year of college to earn my bachelors degree from the Maryland Institute College of Art in Illustration. I joined CadmiumCDs team as the marketing intern in January 2017 and on my days off I spend a lot of time watching low quality movies on VHS and playing games.
I have grown up in Harford County my whole life. I went to Harford Community College for one year, where I played Lacrosse. After Harford, I transferred to Towson where I currently am studying Business with a concentration in Marketing on pace to graduate spring 2019. As an intern at CadmiumCD I am learning a great deal of information that will help me succeed in the future.
When I am not working for CadmiumCD, you can find me hanging with my friends, traveling, playing sports or going out on my boat.
Growing up, I was the creative and boisterous kid who was always into something. Born and raised on a horse farm in Harford County, I did the typical farm kid stuff - summer camp, Pony Club, helping with barn chores- and of course, I excelled at being awesome.
School was always a top priority for my family. In 2003, I received my Associates in Graphic Design from Harford Community College; in 2005, my Bachelor's in Graphic Design from Radford University, Virginia; and in 2012, my Master's degree in Communications from Notre Dame of Maryland University.
In 2005, I was hired as a contract graphic designer for Aberdeen Proving Ground. In February 2008, I was transitioned to a permanent federal employee, becoming the fourth generation working for the proving ground. In July of 2014, I made the leap from federal employee to freelance graphic designer and in December 2014, I joined the CadmiumCD team.
I've had a strong interest in science, technology, art, and design since I was a kid growing up in Ohio. I surrounded myself with Lego, sketch pads, and Atari video games. After moving to Maryland and going to college, my interest in art and technology led me to a career in web design and other forms of visual media. I've built websites, designed posters, and set up conferences for members of the scientific community for over 15 years.
In my spare time I enjoy watching ice hockey, picking apart movies, playing Nintendo with my son, and reading comics. Most of all, I enjoy playing and designing board games. I help run the largest unpublished board game convention in the country, getting game designers together with play testers. My knowledge managing a large event combined with my professional skillset made coming to CadmiumCD a perfect fit.
My professional career began in 2014 when I started working for my fatherís software business ManchesterData LLC, where I learned a lot of advanced concepts. Eventually I went to work for Carchex, where I built some responsive interfaces and worked heavily in their databases. Overall I have been programming for around 6 years. I am currently finishing up my degree at UMUC to obtain a Bachelor's in Software Development and Security.
In my spare time I enjoy outdoors, tennis, music production, working in the youth ministry and working on my own dev projects.
Prior to joining CadmiumCD, I was Customer Support and Tech Support at IKEA for 16 years. I had many roles during that time which offered many opportunities to help customers and build communication skills. I also learned many additional things that I hope to apply at CadmiumCD. In my spare time I like reading, as well as researching a variety of scientific and historical subjects.
In high school I took a serious interest to art and photography. My primary passion was photography, but after being introduced to Graphic Design, I realized this was the career path I wanted to pursue. I transferred from Harford Community College after studying there for two years, and went on to receive a BFA in Graphic Design from the Maryland Institute College of Art in 2012.
During college, I grew especially fond of the digital and web-based side of Graphic Design. The summer before I graduated, I began a Designer Internship at CadmiumCD. As a result, CadmiumCD offered me a full-time position in January of 2013, which I gladly accepted!
In my free time, I'm usually creating my own art projects. In addition to design, I like working with 3D Animation, Game Design, and Photography. I love animals, and have two dog-children. My other hobbies include video games, music and concerts, and being outdoors.
I am a Maryland native and graduate of Stevenson University with a degree in Business Administration.
My past experience in customer service and account management has provided me with the skills to deliver exceptional service and organization in all of my interactions.
I am an avid equestrian with a passion for being outdoors. I love to work with horses, but my other interests include hiking, kayaking, snowboarding, baking, and gardening.
Originally from near Morgantown, WV, I graduated with an International Business degree from West Virginia University in 2013 and have spent my time since working as a meeting & events manager for various associations in the DC metro area.
My first experience with CadmiumCD was as a client; I was so impressed with the level or service I received as well as the dynamic end-user experience and customization with their products that when I decided to change careers fate allowed me to end up at CadmiumCD.
I am excited to keep learning more about our products and leveraging some of my previous knowledge in speaker and meetings management to help our clients achieve the best possible end-user and speaker service that will assist them with enhancing the attendee experience at their meetings and events.
Since an early age, I have been interested in computers. Around the age of 18, I built my first gaming computer and have not looked back. After receiving an Associates Degree from Harford Community college in computer science, I got a job working in the IT department of a small food distribution company. There I learned how to troubleshoot problems and communicate complex problems to a less technical user. After about a year of working in the IT field, I accepted a position at CadmiumCD, and I am eager to use my skills to help the company be successful. When not in the office you can usually find me online playing video games with my friends or working out in the gym. I also recently starting playing on a Rec Rugby team. Hopefully, this will convince me to do more cardio (doubtful).
Born and raised in Maryland, I graduated from UMBC and have since worked as a web designer for the National Aquarium in Baltimore before joining the team at CadmiumCD.
When Iím not working you can likely still find me glued to a screen. Iím passionate about tech and music. In my spare time I like to play guitar, record music, run, hike, and cook. I love discovering new music and anything audio related.
I currently reside in Baltimore with two friends and two dogs.
I graduated from the University of Delaware with a Bachelors Degree in Chemical Engineering and began working for DuPont in a New Business Initiative called Somos, the name of a chemical used in 3D Rapid Prototyping. Shortly after joining, the Somos business was acquired by a large European chemical company called DSM. As a Sales Engineer at Somos, I went to numerous events where I observed how conference education was managed and delivered. While working on my MBA at the University of Maryland, my husband, Peter Wyatt, and I launched CadmiumCD. CadmiumCD's first clients included events that I exhibited at while at Somos, and they remain customers today, fourteen years later.
As a founding partner at CadmiumCD, I am responsible for the sales, marketing, accounting and HR functions at the company. I work with and talk to over 100 meeting planners a year about the goals and challenges in managing and distributing content for their meetings.
I am also the mother of two boys and actively involved in Boy Scouts.
I started coding when I was in middle school by writing programs that played music (one note per line of code!). By high school I was maxing out the memory on my graphing calculator by programming games. You would think I would have pursued a degree in IT, but I thought engineer was my thing, so I pursued a Bachelors in Chemical Engineering from the University of Delaware.
I then went on to work for 13 years at Procter and Gamble in the cosmetics division (Cover Girl and Max Factor brands). I worked on some very talented teams that developed new mascara and lipcolor products (Covergirl Outlast lipcolor and Covergirl Lastblast Mascara). Somewhere in the middle of all that I found my way back to my coding roots by established CadmiumCD with my wife, Michelle . We focused first on building websites for companies and then stumbled into producing Conference Proceedings on CDs.
I quit my promising career at P&G in 2009 and forged ahead full time with CadmiumCD. Since then, CadmiumCD has grown to be much bigger, and best of all, it's the company I always wanted to work at ... a place where the team is dedicated, talented, and specializes in Awesomeness.
Born and raised in the suburbs of the great state of New Jersey, I lived there the first 22 years of my life. Then I moved south to Maryland to attend higher education.
I graduated Towson University in the fall of 2014 with a BFA in Digital Art and Design and was able to take a wide variety of creative courses while there. This included a few web design classes, and I realized there was so much more to the websites I frequented every day than just the colors and things to click on. Somebody built those websites. Suddenly, all that scary code was no longer that scary. It was just another problem to solve and play with.
When I'm not knuckle deep in glue or tangled in string, I usually have my nose in a book or out hiking with friends. Recently, I've discovered a love of traveling and now I'm making it my mission to fill up my passport with stamps from all corners of the world.
